When exploring northern Labrador don’t miss the Makkovik Craft Centre featuring a large selection of handcrafted and locally made inventory from across Nunatsiavut. Featuring items such as sealskin and cowhide products; silipaks (coats); crochet and knitted items; beaded, carved, and Labradorite jewelry; carvings made from soapstone or wood; and traditional Inuit art. The Craft Center is open whenever the passenger ferry is in port or by appointment.
