Putlavimiut Studio provides land-based experiences, workshops, and art based on the traditional practices and teachings of the Inuit and Mi’kmaw people. Experiences are designed and led by Monika Rumbolt a NunatuKavut Inuk multi-disciplinary visual artist and Indigenous guide currently living in Labrador City, NL.
Monika’s passion and love of the land translates into a colourful experience that incorporates her culture and traditional practices using natural materials such as furs, sea grass, labradorite, and handcrafted paint from dried flowers and berries.
